The partnership will leverage each company’s respective strengths in energy storage temperature control and system integration. The two sides will collaborate on Envicool  CubeCool-S full-chain DX cooling solution, working together to accelerate the global deployment of commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage systems.

SOFAR is a globally leading provider of photovoltaic and energy storage solutions, committed to becoming a pioneer in digital energy. It offers innovative technologies and system solutions for households, industrial and commercial sectors, and large-scale ground power stations. Its core products include 1-350kW photovoltaic inverters, 3-20kW energy storage inverters, energy storage batteries, centralized storage systems, and smart energy management systems. SOFAR’s business footprint spans multiple countries and regions worldwide.

As a leader in thermal management and energy efficiency, Envicool has deep R&D expertise and broad application experience across electrochemical energy storage, data center cooling, and telecom base station air conditioning. With seven R&D and manufacturing centers and four core technology platforms, Envicool has built a robust technical foundation covering everything from R&D and production to system delivery and operations

In previous C&I energy storage projects, Envicool’s precision cooling technologies have been seamlessly integrated with SOFAR’s energy storage systems. Envicool CubeCool-S full chain DX cooling solution has earned strong market recognition for its high efficiency, reliability, safety, and low-noise performance - also laying the groundwork for innovative "PV + Storage + Charging" integrated solutions.

As one of the earliest companies in China to deploy temperature control for energy storage, Envicool continues to lead the industry with its fully autonomous full-chain solutions. Envicool CubeCool-S full chain DX cooling solution, covering DX units, pipelines, cold plates, and self-sealing quick disconnects, is all developed in-house.

This solution adopts refrigerant-based direct cooling to eliminate liquid leakage risks, preventing electrical short circuits or thermal runaway. By operating without water circulation, it reduces heat exchange steps and improves energy efficiency by 50% compared to liquid cooling systems. It also ensures uniform cold plate temperatures, reduces cell temperature differences, extends battery lifespan, and lowers energy consumption by 30% compared to conventional liquid cooling.

Additionally, the system’s low-noise design enables broad adoption in environments with strict noise requirements, supporting the diversified and vertical application of energy storage systems.

Today, the global C&I energy storage market is rapidly expanding, driven by the urgent need for energy transition and efficient system solutions. "Temperature control technology is redefining the value proposition of energy storage systems,"said You Guobo, Vice President of Envicool. He emphasized that the two companies will co-develop a joint innovation platform to accelerate the iteration of next-generation intelligent liquid-cooled energy storage systems.

This partnership not only connects the entire technical chain from core components to system integration but also introduces a digital O&M system that continuously optimizes performance through real-time monitoring and smart analytics. Responding to growing demand for green energy equipment in overseas markets like Europe, the two companies plan to launch localized energy storage products, exploring innovative global deployment paths for new energy technologies.

Looking ahead, Envicool and SOFAR will advance in stages through technological integration, market expansion, and ecosystem development. Their joint efforts will enhance system efficiency, safety standards, and cost performance—injecting new momentum into the global energy transition.
