Recently, at the 5th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Computing Power Industry Conference held in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) "Inbound Data Processing" Special Data Zone was officially launched. With the support of the Shaoguan Data Center Cluster, this marks a new step forward in computing power collaboration and data factor circulation within the GBA.
As a key component of this cluster, Guangdong’s Transportation AI Computing Center has been built to National Class A data center standards, supporting supercomputing, cloud computing, and big data analytics for the transportation industry, and providing computing power for the digital transformation of Guangdong's transportation infrastructure.

This project adopted Envicool's high-efficiency cooling solutions, which Independent third-party testing confirmed that meets the mandatory energy efficiency requirements for data centers at the GBA National Computing Hub.
To support the continued deepening of computing power collaboration in the GBA, the project set dual high standards for the AI computing center's operations:
• Maintaining 365×24 reliable, uninterrupted operation.
• Meeting National Computing Hub energy efficiency standards for AI computing centers.
To address these requirements, Envicool deployed XMint high-efficiency evaporative cooling composite multi-systems, XRow series in-row cooling units, and supporting auxiliary equipment, together with an AI-powered energy management system. This integrated approach helps ensure high reliability, high safety, and high energy efficiency for the AI computing center.

On the reliability front, Envicool’s cooling solution incorporates redundant design for critical components, automatic switching between cooling modes, fault prediction, and intelligent system management – ensuring stable temperature and humidity control under varying operating conditions, and supporting the continuous operation of mission-critical transportation services.
In terms of energy efficiency, the XMint high-efficiency evaporative cooling composite multi-systems leverage CFD simulation to optimize airflow distribution, combined with advanced cooling technologies including variable-frequency drive, free cooling, and multi-VRF adaptive control. This makes full use of natural cooling resources and significantly reduces cooling system energy consumption.
For intelligent management, the AI-powered energy management system, integrated with the XMint high-efficiency evaporative cooling composite multi-systems dynamically, adjusts operating modes and cooling output based on real-time IT load changes – creating a full-chain energy-saving loop from hardware selection to precision control.
On-site measurements show that the AI computing center has achieved excellent PUE performance, meeting the strict energy efficiency targets of the National Computing Hub while ensuring stable operation of transportation computing services.

The Shaoguan Data Center Cluster, where the project is located, is one of the ten national-level data center clusters under China's "East Data, West Computing" initiative, and is the only national-level data center cluster in South China.
Leveraging our self-developed core products, continuously evolving energy-saving technologies, and end-to-end capabilities spanning products, systems, and services, Envicool will continue to focus on high-density computing scenarios, providing more efficient and reliable thermal management solutions to support the stable operation and green development of data center clusters.
